Displaying a very dense lustrous, almost soft ivory in colour. This male is from a very consistent line of quality animals, full Peruvian.

He displays one of the most lustrous fleeces, and defined independent staples, with a very distinctive, high frequency crimp. The fleece samples taken above, consistency over body. The pictures above were taken on 12/10/04, and I will emphasis he has been trimmed, we had to take about 4 inches off, as he was over fleeced for the shows. We were not going to show until after he was shorn, but his fleece was so good, we decided to trim him and start putting him back into the end of the show season.

Maggie Kreiger from Canada was very impressed his fleece. He carries an extremely dense fleece, and is well balanced.

He was selected for photo shoots with one of Melbourne’s top designers and models, for Mercedes Benz, and he was the perfect model, as he is a very obliging animal, gentle temperament, and walks perfectly on the halter.

The last two methods is a more intense histogram style, which generally throws higher measurements, as the whole length of the fibre is tested, and not just the end.
