A PICTURE SAYS IT ALL...
Our daughter, Elyse was three when we purchased our first two alpacas, Incka, and Windwhistler.
Both these alpacas went on to produce show winners after show winners, even today progeny from these two, are still taking out championships .
Elyse just turned 19, now is completing her Wool classing and the final subjects for her to be a qualified alpaca breeder, the first so far. She now owns a small herd herself, is very active in the industry always doing alpaca displays if ever she is asked by our industry leaders. A great ambassabor to our industry, she now overseas our herd, and assists Raelene in the education days, showing, grooming, male service management, herd managment, property maintenance. Many farms this size would employ two or more assistants, but Elyse and Raelene maintain the herd, together.
A mother / daughter team that is always there for other breeders who need advice and support.
This industry has been a great industry to be in,
This industry and the purchase of our first two alpacas, many years ago, has been more than our wildest dreams could imagine. Rob , still works his full time job, and one day will also be helping us on the farm.
Our dream is to run 700 alpacas on our farm at once, but not compromising on quality.
Elyse has a great future, and we welcome you to join us on our journey through this industry
Now we have a bit more choice with two associations to market this fabulous product.....
.............Alpaca.
and our beautiful animals
